About Profhilo® Structura

Profhilo® Structura is an injectable skin remodelling treatment containing one of the highest concentrations of Hyaluronic Acid (HA) on the market. It is the very first product that focuses on enhancing the function of the superficial fat cells.

As we age, we lose volume in certain facial fat compartments that can result in a less defined appearance or heaviness in the lower face. Profhilo® Structura works by combating age-related degeneration of the fat cells, allowing them to function more effectively. This can help improve facial definition and restore facial volume contributing to a more youthful appearance.

For optimal results, we recommend an initial 2 treatments spaced a month apart. Results can be seen 1 month after the second treatment and will continue to improve with time.

The technology behind Profhilo® Structura allows the aged fat cells to function more effectively. This results in improved lipid storage and combating any age-related degeneration of the fat cells. This contributes to improved facial definition and volume.

The maximum effect of Profhilo® Structura is seen 4 months after the completion of the second treatment.

Profhilo® Structura is administered into the superficial fat compartment of the face. The treatment focuses on the sides of the face and/or just underneath your cheek bones. After treatment, it is quite common to either have a visible or palpable lump over the treated area. This should improve over the next few days.

For optimal results, we recommend 2 treatments spaced 4 weeks apart. Results can be seen a few weeks after the completion of the treatment plan and will continue to improve up till the 4-month mark.

Individual results may vary. A consultation before the first treatment is required, so please notify us of any health conditions or medical history during this appointment. This information will ensure your individual needs are assessed and that appropriate guidance is given.

The downtime following a Profhilo® Structura treatment is minimal, and you should be able to return to normal ‘light’ daily activities immediately after your procedure.

However, we recommend that you avoid physically strenuous activities and sports on the first day after the treatment and minimise going to the sauna or having steamy baths for the first few days. You should also avoid intense sun or UV light exposure for the first few days after treatment.

PROFHILO® STRUCTURA is a class 3 medical device and must be injected by a medical practitioner or a qualified nurse injector (operating under the supervision of a medical practitioner).PROFHILO® STRUCTURA [4.5% – 22.5 mg (H-HA) + 22.5 mg (L-HA)/1 ml Hyaluronic acid sodium salt and 4.5% – 45 mg (H-HA) + 45 mg (L-HA)/2 ml Hyaluronic acid sodium salt], injection gel in a single use sterile prefilled syringe. It is indicated for adults of both sexes for corrective / filling action of natural or induced skin depressions.

Who carries out my cosmetic aesthetic treatments?
